The ccclean I am attempting to remove it, is because it didn't fully load, in the configuration manager properties window, the general tab is empty, and the components and actions tabs are barely populate.
I agree with Anoop on thisccmclexn is more effective and cleans the WMI and registry traces from the machine. I tried to re-install hte client by selecting "install cleint" fro mhte configuration manager console, but nothing seems to work. Could I just remove the client? Then just stop the service and manually delete the client. I too was having a problem uninstalling the client from a problematic machine.

I feel it is absurd that the OS requests this, as no administrator or technician has time nor desire to contact a user and request that they interrupt their current session just for a reinstall of the CCM client likewise, no user wants to do it — nor should they have to do it.

SCCM was never like this, from what I recall. Lets start with saying that the only supported way is ccmsetup. Have checked the ccmsetup.

It sounds like your client is in a partly working state, so you should try pulling a policy and see what the logs say. You may need to look at the predefined maintenance tasks and schedule it accordingly to remove these records from SCCM DB.
